Act 3 begins with Benvolio and Mercutio walking through Verona. Benvolio and Mercutio are approached by Tybalt and another Capulet man. Tybalt tells them that he is looking for Romeo because he intends on fighting Romeo for coming to the party. As expected, Romeo arrives and is still in a very good mood from his wedding. Romeo is at peace with both sides when suddenly Mercutio challenges Tybalt to a duel. Romeo tries to break up the fight, but Mercutio is stabbed and later dies. Romeo wants revenge on Tybalt so he challenges, duels and kills him. Romeo hears that the prince is coming, so he runs away. Benvolio tells the Prince the entire story and the Prince banishes Romeo from Verona. In scene 2, Juliet waits on Romeo. The Nurse comes and
