Act 2 is mainly about Romeo and Juliet falling in love , planning to get married , and being married by Friar Lawrence. During the balcony seen Juliet says " Therefore pardon me, And not impute this yielding to light love, Which the dark night hath so discovered.(2.2.105)", when Juliet says this she means just because she fell in love with Romeo so quickly and easily doesn't mean it's not real love but more so this means Juliet is in love with Romeo. This relates to the theme "when passion overrules reason, tragedy often follows" because the passion is Romeo and Juliet's love, the reason would be the families' hatred. Eventually Romeo and Juliet figure out their families are enemies but they continue to fall in love. The tragedy is them dying
