Romeo and Juliet is a tragic love story between two young people. The two family 's, Montague and Capulets are sworn enemies/rivals. The the young Romeo and Juliet fall in love, at first they have no idea of who they truly are. When they find out their whole world is flipped upside down. The next day the Romeo and Juliet get married but only in secret they can for they would never be allowed to be together. Only a little later that day Mercutio and Tybalt get into a fight which Romeo unsuccessfully tried to stop. When Mercutio is killed Romeo makes a quick snap decision and kills Tybalt. I used this image because I really wanted to focus is on that love at first sight and Romeo and Juliet 's facial expressions, because they show emotion. I also greatly focused in on the eyes and light/ shimmer in them because they are truly seeing for the first time the person who will change their change their lives. He says though but he means not to offend her about what he is saying. Romeo and Juliet 's first meeting was like a volcano, dormant until the earthquake, a.k.a Juliet, then suddenly, BOOM! I used this image because I really wanted to show the literal meaning of what was happening because in so many scenes it is super focused on imagery so having something literal and symbolist just creates the scene. Unlike a lot of the other scenes where I focus on emotion this one focuses on something different and it really makes you think. This quote is significant because of the intense symbolism and metaphor. The quote really helps the understanding of the story and their love, first being seen here is like the introduction to their story together not apart.
