Near the beginning of the Juno, it is mentioned to Bleeker that Juno is pregnant with his child. Soon after, the characters discuss the options in an adult-like manner. “Bleeker: So what do you think we should do? Juno: I thought I might, you know, nip it in the bud before it gets worse.” As the story progresses, Juno acts in (mature synonym) manner by searching for adoptive parents. “I’m pregnant… But I’m going to give it up for adoption.
