In the play “Romeo and Juliet” written by William Shakespeare, two types of affections were exhibited throughout the play. The play contains two types of relationships: romance and friendships. Though these two may seem distinctly different at first glance, they are actually also similar to one another. In this play, romance was shown numerous times. For example, when they first met and to when Romeo crossed boundaries to see Juliet at the balcony. These two characters are depicted a love boundary that no one can cross, not even their own family. Through these events, the audience can visualize the immediate connection between the two star-crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet.
