Rome is a powerful empire that had many opportunities to fall but survived for almost 800 years a very long time for a government to survive. The government has had 3 different types of governments. The first government was a kingdom where Rome was ruled by kings and their blood line. The second was a republic that had a noble class make decisions for everyone else and last there was the roman empire that was led first by Augustus the adopted son of ceaser the recently assassinated man and Augustus goes to take back his stolen country.
