The Roma, Sinti, and Camminati (Roma) are the most discriminated against and hated minority groups in Italy. They experience grave social and economic exclusion, mostly due to several barriers they face in the full enjoyment of fundamental civil, political and social rights. Several reports show that Romani population in Italy experiences: high level of poverty , high drop out rate in school and low enrollment rate in higher education level , high rate of unemployment, heavily compromised health and hygienic conditions and an higher level of infant mortality and a shorter life expectancy than the rest of the population .
