My knees shaked and my palms felt like a soaked sponge. Everyone around me seemed composed and calm. I tried my best not to reveal my fear, as I folded my hands and faked a smile. We were on our way to Europa Park, europe's biggest amusement park. I was excited to go, but I had never been on a roller coaster and I was frightened of getting dizzy or not enjoying the rides. However, I reassured myself by thinking that most people would not want to ride the mega-coasters. Thus, I would not have to worry about the steep falls on Silver Star and the twisty turns of Blue Fire. The van existed the roundabout, directly into the front entrance of the park. The loud screams, tall coasters, and big signs were louder, taller, and bigger than I ever imagined. I was terrified. This was the roller coaster that had several corkscrews and upside down turns as the seats were hanging from the track as opposed to the regular cars on top of the track. For some reason, the concept of hanging in your seat, no matter how safe it supposedly was, scared me out of my mind. Still, I was not going to be a wimp and stay behind while my friends went on one of the two big park highlights without me, or so I thought. When we had waited for what felt like forever, we made it to the front of the line and prepared ourselves to board the coaster. For some reason, I had psyched myself up so much that by that point in time there was no way I was going to get on that ride unless someone forced me. I sadly watched my friends board the ride as I waited behind for them, but felt very pleased with my decision to not risk my
