Roller Coaster Life

Decent Essays
Life is like a roller coaster it can go any way at any speed and this represents my switch between middle school between high school. And the reason is because in 8th and 9th grade went any way bad or good fast or slow but 9th was the worst. It all starts with 8th grade easy and boring and then into the end of summer about to go high school I was pretty nervous then boom 9th grade hits me like a tornado. At the end of 7th grade summer I was getting ready for 8th grade I was kinda scared but I new I have to go. My first day was like being in the line for a kiddy ride and finally getting on it. Just buckling in and listening to directions really easy and boring. But the worst part was the mean and annoying director for the roller coaster kind like my Spanish teacher that year. But other than that it was a fun and easy year really boring just like a kitty ride.

And at the end of 8th grade summer was like waiting in line for that really scary roller coaster scariest at the park.Day 3 was like when you're walking around the amusement park and just seeing the massive roller coaster.Day 2 was like when my friends say hey let's go ride that roller coaster and I already started to sweat and get nervous.while walking to the roller coaster I

First marking period reports cards came faster than me eating a buffet and at that point the roller coaster was going up a gigantic hill almost to the top.when I got them the drop hit it went so fast my skin flew of my face and i couldn't breath then it slowed down. My grades weren't that bad not what i expected. Than I hear the word EXAMS I nearly passed out and I feel like I time traveled to the week of exams.at that point the roller coaster was slowly going up a hill this hill went so high I touched the moon then getting my semester grades I was incinerated in my seat thank god they had an deincinerator at the

After graduating Emge Jr. High, I attended West. On the first day of school I was scared because my old school wasn’t really big and for sure did not have as many people. I’ve been in school for about 11 years, every year is different, but yet the same. Because we are at the same school for years, it’s the same people, same school, and same everyday routine. Some years are better than others, but the overall best year that I’ve experienced is or was, 8th grade. The fun field trips to places, High School acceptance, and it’s the last year of middle school.…

Middle School Mid-Life Crisis Middle school, a time of cringe worthy moments and regret. I like to refer to this story as my “Middle School Mid-Life Crisis”, since I questioned the purpose of going to school almost every day, and never felt motivated to do anything. Dreading almost every day of school, not having stable mental, emotional, or physical health, and feeling dissatisfied with myself as a student. My mind set was always on countdown mode, “I just have to make it through this class period. I only have 20 more problems to do.”…

My freshman year was one of my craziest school year. It came from fake hall passes, to skipping in the restroom, and acting all bad by getting referrals. I remember my ap secretary always used to call me “Diablo” just because i always got in trouble and she said i used to drive her crazy. I just never cared about the consequence of skipping so much, good thing I never got caught. Meeting new friends and new attitudes and a little more of responsibility and to be honest waking up so early every single morning was not that fun.…

Well, eighth grade is the final year of middle school, meaning that I have to go to high school next year. I'm honestly expecting high school to be a lot harder and frustrating, but hopefully I can power through it. I feel glad that I've gotten this far and that I get to go to high school, and maybe by the end of high school, I can get into college. Middle school was a good experience in my book, but it's really just middle school.…

High school. People say it’s either the best or worst four years of your life. Of course they never give you the details of what makes them the worst or best years. Which means, I, a terrified 8th grader convince myself that they will be the worst four years of my life. Honestly it is easy to guess that.…

First Day of School in America I face challenges everyday in my life. My family and I moved from Cuba in July 2011, two weeks before I was supposed to start High School. We moved here because of my dad’s work, he is a pediatrician and he had better opportunities here. My mom wasn’t sure about moving here, she didn’t want to leave our country, our house and her parents, and I just didn’t care about it, since I was too little to think that going to another country was going to make a really big difference in my life.…

I had heard about there being gangs and fights happening in the school and coming from a small town where nothing ever happens except, someone robbing the bank and getting away with it, I was scared. I drove a little blue Boniville and pulling into the parking lot I knew immediately i had parked in the wrong place. There were brand new pickups and jeeps everywhere and here I am in my little blue car just trying to find my way around. The traffic was terrible. There is only one entrance and one exit and it takes forever to get in and out of that place.…

Personal Health Narrative I honestly was so excited for it to be my eighth grade year. The Savannah trip, semi-formal, and moving on to high school in just one year. Eighth grade is that awkward time where boys are a big deal and girls are still trying to learn how to do their makeup correctly. I knew that this year was a big deal to me. I wanted nothing at all to get in my way.…
