In chapter 10 of the book “Roll of Thunder” a character named TJ had a vital decision that could affect the story line. It all started when Cassie’s family and all African families in the community went to Great Faith Church in order to have their Annual Revival. TJ then went to great faith in order to show off his new friends and belongings, whilst the African families were socializing with each other outside the church. The Simmes brothers accompanied TJ, because the in previous chapters of the book, the Simmes brothers befriended him. When TJ arrived at Great Faith Church to show off, no one cared and everyone started to go inside the church without paying attention to TJ.
