President is the head of the United States. Roles of the President varies from country to country. There are Presidents in another countries too, but it might be more roles or less roles compared to the President of the United States. Some of the roles of the American President are Chief of State, Foreign Policy Makers, Chief Executive, Chief Legislator, Commander-in-Chief, etc. In this term paper, I will be discussing some important roles of American President. The American President is the head of the state. This means he presides over government administration and federal agencies to enforce the laws of the land. Some agencies may operate independently such as the U.S. Fed. While the President does control the executive brand and appoint heads to lead agencies, his nominations have to be approved by the Senate (Miller Center). President Obama has toured countries including China and India and as a President he had the authority to enter into treaties with Chinese and Indian Governments.
