A common view of this is group projects. Students who work together on a project should not feel like they have to check up on one another. This trust needs to go both ways, student A, should be able to trust that student B gets their part done. Student B should do or feel the same towards student A. When someone believes in him or herself, they are able to do anything regardless of what it is, or what could be standing in the way. This could be everything, including water skiing, doing really good on a test, and even wearing a tutu to school. All of these situations and more, the person taking the actions believes that they are able to not only do the objective, but make sure that it has a good ending as well. Trusting ourselves is a huge deal, yet not everyone is able to do it, very often nerves get in the way.
