The play Othello is summarized to be a Venetian leader and his captivating wife, Desdemona. Othello has a demanding job in which he had to travel. There was a time that Othello had a job offer open to his fellow workers. He decided to make his right-hand man, Cassio the lieutenant. However, Iago was agitated that Othello made Cassio his lieutenant instead of him. After this, Iago sparks a plot of revenge on Othello. He then spread a vulgar fabrication about Desdemona. According to Iago's statement, Othello then loses hope in Desdemona. Trust was a substantial issue throughout the play. Trust is the foundation for all relationships. Without trust, there's an empty space. The subject of trust in Othello connects to the world we live in today.
