Telemachus is an interesting character (Adjective Phrase) in The Odyssey. Telemachus is willing to do anything for a decent reward. Right now he is trying to find his father, Odysseus. He has gone island to island and city to city trying to get clues to where his father may have gone. Telemachus has traveled to the island of Pylos to talk to King Nestor. Telemachus says to King Nestor,”Our mission here is personal, nothing public now. I am on the trail of my father’s widespread fame, you see, searching the earth to catch some news of great-hearted King Odysseus who, they say, fought with you to demolish Troy some years ago,” (Homer pg.110, lines 90-94).
