How are Robots Replacing the Humans in the Military Robots are the future of the military. This affects our future by deciding weather or not the men and women in service will live during active duty. Robots could potentially eliminate the human factor in combat completely. Robots could perform tasks such as firing a weapon, doing recon or partaking in perimeter patrol. Considering these factors, Robots are a useful tool in our nations military and they are the military’s future. These include; robot RiSE. It is a six legged robot that can climb any rough surface such as a brick wall, tree or even a small cliff side. RiSE was designed to hang off the sides of building and trees. Its purpose being, to listen in on conversations of the enemy.(discovery) Another odd, but very useful robot is an unmanned ATV called riptide. Riptide is an amphibious vehicle that can be both manned and unmanned. It is a brother to the worlds fastest track vehicle named the ripsaw.
