Since the beginning, The Fast and Furious series has been all about illegal street racing. In the more recent movies the franchise has changed their approach and focused more on fight scenes, explosions, and action in general. The writers have changed their approach because the illegal street racing that takes place in the first and second movie caused audiences and viewers to go out on the street and preform these crazy illegal stunts and scenes that takes place in the movie. In fact, after the release of the first movie the LAPD arrested six people for street-racing activities and seized countless vehicles. Furthermore, over 200 other people were disciplined for spectating at an illegal racing event.
