National Honor Society has helped me develop their four pillars, scholarship, service, leadership, and character, into my daily life. To become a member, a specific GPA is required and maintained, which is more motivation to keep up academic achievement. Additionally, tutoring is a major part of our society, so having a good understanding of the subject you are tutoring in makes sure that you maintain the level of academic achievement the honor society calls for. One example that stands out particularly is when I was on the Bengal football team, and it was a scorching day early on in the year. It seemed as though everybody had a terrible day, and it was looking like we were having a horrible practice.…

As a leader in many after school activities such as Boy Scouts, Altar Serving, Ushering, and in my family, I believe that I would fit well in the National Honor Society. Boy Scouts, as well as Altar Serving, has taught me that others may not be up to date with the activity at hand, which means that you must tell them, and teach them the skills needed. Altar Serving and Boy Scouts need teamwork, and communication to be successful. Teamwork is what allows the process of different activities happen, and without teamwork everything would not be smooth or it would not work completely. Ushering and family life has taught me that you must work as a team, but by doing your own work, and making sure that everything is done when it is needed.…

The function of the National Honor Society (NHS) is to promote leadership and help develop character in students through community service. Being part of an organization like the National Honor Society would open doors to new opportunities such as tapping into a network of individuals that have similar interests as mine. If selected, I would help contribute to the growth of NHS by using my time helping other students achieve their goals academically, whether they need help with school work or studying. By mentoring, this would also help improve my leadership skills. I would also help contribute to the success of NHS by providing ideas for new projects that could positively impact the lives of fellow members and society in general for instance,…

Leadership Personal Statement I see myself as an effective, motivating, and hardworking leader that never settles for less than the best. I believe I am a potent leader because of my constant perseverance, and ability to guide others towards success. An example of this was my junior year of football that has just concluded.
