The Rogers family is responsible for incorporating the Golden Rule into our daily lives. This applies both to within the family and to outside members.
Core Values Values are important because they develop us as individuals and help us create our future by assisting in our judgement. This is especially important because without the shared view of val-ues, one member can alter the future of the group. The core values are applied within and outside the family. The four core values that the Rogers family shares are commitment, courage, respect, and supporting each other.
Commitment
No matter how hard a task might it’s important that a Rogers’s member remains dedicated to the tasks. This can be view on different levels such as school, work, or within the family. It doesn’t matter what the action, the completion of a task is a part Rogers’s value.
Courage
Courage is what defines us as a member of the Rogers family. This can be related to com-mitment in regards to completing a tasks no matter how unnerving it might be. Courage also en-compass morals by doing the right thing even when no one is looking.

Activities that include sports, hobbies, community service, or craftsmanship is important in developing a solid foundation of core values and principles. It has been shown that children in extracurricular activities are well rounded and have increased chances in furthering education. These are regu-lated by each family member and is supported by all members.
Demonstration
The best way to train in the Rogers core values is to practice and demonstrate at any availa-ble opportunity. An individual’s character is developed on the application of their values and principles. If the Rogers’s family values and principles aren’t applied in everyday life, then the member could become sidetracked from the Rogers family. It’s imperative that family members demonstrate theses principles in their everyday life.
Conclusion
The Rogers Family Code of Ethics takes a practical and mutual look at the future of the family. The mission statement gives us direction to what we what to become.
