Aurora's POV
The next day, I woke up before the sun had made it's daily route over the moutains that stood in the distance. Dressed in my red polka dotted pajamas and furry houseshoes, I jogged to my trailer. All of my rodeo outfits were in the closet of my dresser. The gravel shifted and scooted under my feet as I walked.
My trailer sit quite and untouched with the truck only feet away. The horses in the barn neighed almost as if they anticipated what would come later in the day. A smile appeared on my face as I saw Maggie walk out of the main house and towards the cabin. She carried a basket in her hands.
"Aurora!" She shouted to get my attention.
She started to jog my way. I looked down in embrassment at my pajamas, but quickly brushed

I brushed down both Maybelline and Eagle before getting everything ready to leave.

The atmosphere of Cheyenne Fronteir Days is electric to say the least. The drive to the rodeo took longer than usual due to the crapload of traffic. It didn't even seem to help that I left a little earlier so I might get there before the time that I was suppose to be there. I was worried I wouldn't make it in time to check in,but thankfully I did.
I parked my truck and trailer where the other contestants were parked. I reconigzed some of the other barrel racers that was hanging around their rigs.I stepped down from my truck and walked to the back of the trailer. I unloaded both Maybelline and Eagle and tied them to the trailer.
Once I made sure both of the horses were comfortable, I went to check in. I saw Brayden standing in line with a couple other contestants. He was facing away from me as I walked up behind him. I cleared my throat to get his attention. He turned around to face me.
"Hey princess!" Brayden said as he kissed my cheek.
"Did you miss me?" I asked smiling.
"Not at all." He said chuckling.
"I didn't miss you either." I gave him a quick peck on the
