The movie rocky is set in an Italian neighbourhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The theme of this film is the underdog. All other potential replacement fighters are booked up or otherwise unavailable so creed decides to give a local contender a chance to face him. He chooses Rocky and after rocky meets with a promoter he agrees to fight. Rocky begins training and uses unusual training methods like using meat carcasses as punching bags he also accepts help from mickey Goldmill a respected trainer who always criticized Rocky for wasting his potential. While all this is happening he begins a relationship with a shop clerk at the local pet shop who is also his friend Paulies’ sister, Adrian. The night before the match rocky goes to the arena it is here that he realizes that no one expects him to win he becomes depressed and decides that he is content to go the distance against Creed and prove himself to everyone. On New Year ’s Day is the day of the match, creed makes a dramatic entrances dressed as George Washington and then Uncle Sam. Taking advantage of creeds over confidence rocky knocks him out in the first round. After this creed takes rocky more seriously. The
