Wildlife/Physical Features (Everyone)

Common animals are Elks, Bighorn sheeps, moose, cougars, bobcats, bears. The Rocky Mountains are teeming with aquatic and aerial life forms. Fishing is a major lifestyle in the Rocky Mountains. As for the landscape, the Rocky Mountains is a region with high elevation. It is a very mountainous landscape. Several mines are located throughout the region, all achieving various degrees of success in the past. Tourism in the Rocky Mountains is mainly based off of the natural beauty of the landscape and the various recreational outdoor activities. Vacationing in resorts and skiing are the preferred activities in the Rockies.Some popular tourist destinations are Aspen, Vail, Keystone, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain in Colorado, Sun Valley in Idaho, Pikes Peak, Royal Gorge, Rocky Mountain National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park, and Glacier National …show more content…
The park’s main road leads past the expansive Bryce Amphitheater, a hoodoo-filled depression lying below the Rim Trail hiking path. It has overlooks at Sunrise Point, Sunset Point, Inspiration Point and Bryce Point. Prime viewing times are around sunup and sundown.

Grand Teton National Park

Grand Teton National Park is in the northwest of the U.S state of Wyoming. It encompasses the Teton mountain range, the 4,000-meter Grand Teton peak, and the valley known as Jackson Hole. It’s a popular destination in summer for mountaineering, hiking, backcountry camping and fishing, linked to nearby Yellowstone National Park by the John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Memorial Parkway.

Glacier National Park

Glacier National Park is a 1,583-sq.-mi. wilderness area in Montana's Rocky Mountains, with glacier-carved peaks and valleys running to the Canadian border.
