Rocky Mount Crime Rate

I am from Rocky Mount, North Carolina and the largest issue I hope will change is the crime rate. For 2016, Neighborhood Scout ranked Rocky Mount seventeenth on their list of thirty cities with the highest murder rate, placing Rocky Mount higher than cities in New York and California. If the crime rate were to decrease in Rocky Mount, then more people would be willing to go out to stores and restaurants. If people felt safe, then stores would be likely to stay open and additional stores would open after the fact. In doing this, it would improve the possibility of an expansion in the size of the city.
