Rock Port High School Research Paper

Rock Port High School has a serious problem of the students vandalising. The students will write in their lockers, on the bathroom stall, and on the classroom desks. It’s not every student, but it is a good majority of the students. The staff at the high school always struggle with finding a culprit or culprits of the vandalism, and they have even brought in the police. They have had their own solutions, but with no success. As a solution, the school was under a lockdown policy for several weeks. Students were not allowed to leave any classrooms for any reasons. If any student needed to use the restroom, he or she had to do it during the passing period between classes. Since they would not be allowed to use pencils and pens, students would have to type all of their assignments. Typing an excessive amount per day can lead to carpal tunnel. The students would just have to get use to the pain and learn to deal with it. It would make them tough, and give them a taste of what hard work is. The students who gain toughness from typing, could also improve our sports team. If certain students could become tough just by typing everyday, imagine how tough they would be on a football field or basketball court.
The third benefit would be that the school saves money. Considering that no student would be in the possession of a writing utensil, and the bathrooms are guarded, there would be no need for a janitorial staff. The purpose of a janitor is to clean what the students mess up. Without vandalism in the lockers, bathroom, or on desks, the purpose of someone cleaning up after the students disappears. The school could fire the janitorial staff to save money. Many other things would be more important to spend the money on instead of a staff of people who are no longer
