The 1950’s saw the emergence and rise of rock and roll music. This mass media allowed people to escape reality and get loose. Elvis Presley was the “King of Rock ’n’ Roll” and one of the most famous artists during this period of time. Elvis was more successful than any other Rock ’n’ Roll artists. He not only illustrated his own style of music, but he also epitomized teenage rebellion of the 1950’s. Although Elvis was the reason for the rise of rock music, we should still remember the original artists who created the music style but weren't given any credibility. The artists who were not given the chance to record their music were: Chuck Berry, The Coaster, Little Richard, and many others. Elvis Presley developed a new form to rock and roll
