Roccat uses a Twin-Tech Technology laser sensor that can go from 200 up to 12000 DPI. This brings the Nyth right up to the highest levels in the gaming accessory market.
Even the update frequency is not a joke at 1000Hz. The response time is 1 millisecond and allows you to manage the acceleration up to 50G.
Other data concerns a 72MHz 32-bit ARM Turbo V2 architecture micro-controller and an internal memory of 576kB (to save keystrokes).

The Roccat Nyth is in fact only available with a power supply. You use it via the 1.8-meter long gold-plated USB 2.0 cable with a durable covering.
