Roc Nation Vs Rita Ora Analysis

Roc Nation sued Rita Ora for breach of contract. Rita Ora had also filed a lawsuit to part ways from Roc Nation due to her claiming the label abandon her. She claimed that Jay-Z, owner of Roc Nation started to seek new artist. Ora was signed to the label at the age of 18. The contract stated that Ora was to make five albums, which would include four “option” periods (Grow, 2016). Ora only made one of the five, which is how the contract was breached, but according to Ora, she made a second album, but it was never released due to Roc Nation seeking new artist sued Rita Ora for 2.4 million.
In my opinion, and as far as the information that was provided on the internet, I do believe the contract was fair. Ora did not disagree with the contract
