Robin Williams: A Biography “You’re only given a little spark of madness. You musn't lose it.”-Robin Williams. Robin Williams is known today as one of the world’s best comedic actors. Despite spending most of his life battling several serious conditions, he touched the lives of many people and left his handprint on the heart of today’s youth with his portrayal of Genie in Aladdin. “You’re only given a little spark of madness. Williams was most applauded for his stand-up comedy shows. Even though he was battling depression, he still managed to put on a brave face and make people who admired him laugh. His wife told the public that he always brightened while around loved ones and fans.
