Robin Williams was a funny man who made not just America, but the whole world laugh at his wonderful antics. Robin had started up as a stand-up comedian in San Francisco and Los Angeles in the mid-1970’s. He was an American actor and comedian loved equally by both kids and adults for his quirky expressions, charming clumsiness, and innocent, yet witty dialogues. Robin was born July 21st, 1951 in Chicago, IL. Sadly Robin passed away at the age of 63 by suicide on August 11th, 2014 from depression that he had been suffering from for a while before then.
Robin’s mother, Laurie McLaurin Williams, was a formal model from Mississippi, and his father, Robert Fitzgerald Williams, was a Ford Motor Company Executive from Indiana. They were together from 1950 - 1987 when Robert had passed away. Robin had two siblings, Robert Todd Williams and McLaurin Smith Williams. Robin had went to two different schools from elementary school to high school. He went to Detroit County Day school as a child where he was bullied by other children for being overweight and not fitting in very much, and Redwood High School. Detroit County Day school was actually a private school. He was involved in theater and drama club while in high school. Robin surprisingly was not class clown. Eventually he had dropped out of college and started training at Juilliard with a scholarship that he had received. While Robin was training at Juilliard he had been told to focus more on his stand-up comedy then to pursue to waste time on acting classes. He had appeared a lot in films during his career. Jumanji, Aladdin, Dead Poets Society, and Mr. Doubtfire were his most famous films that he was in. Robin had won an academy award for his performance “Good Will Hunting.” When Robin’s depression had gotten bad, he had decided that he needed to go and had then committed suicide at age
