Robin’s mother, Laurie McLaurin Williams, was a formal model from Mississippi, and his father, Robert Fitzgerald Williams, was a Ford Motor Company Executive from Indiana. They were together from 1950 - 1987 when Robert had passed away. Robin had two siblings, Robert Todd Williams and McLaurin Smith Williams. Robin had went to two different schools from elementary school to high school. He went to Detroit County Day school as a child where he was bullied by other children for being overweight and not fitting in very much, and Redwood High School.
