Robin, the main character of The Door in the Wall, is the son of a knight and to be trained as a knight, but is faced with multiple difficulties. The title, The Door in the Wall, foreshadows the entire book. As a matter of fact, Brother Luke, one of the main characters, uses those words to help Robin understand there are always problems in life. He also helps him understand that with problems come solutions. If it were not for Brother Luke, Robin may not have found the doors in his walls.
