Hood”, by Howard Pyle. The story of Robin Hood is about a famous archer named Robert of
Loxley (Robin Hood), who had a confrontation with a drunken citizen that challenged him. After
they had a shooting match, the drunken citizen decided to shoot an arrow at Robin Hood,
however Robin Hood retaliates by shooting him in the heart. After this, Robin Hood decides to
hide in the forest, where more than a hundred men followed him and became loyal to him.
Robin soon meets friends like Little John and Will Stuttley, but also meets enemies like the
Sheriff of Nottingham, who wants to capture him for a reward. In the next few chapters, the

After this, Little John
brings the Sheriff to Robin Hood, he returns the silver, and then warns the Sheriff.
In Chapter 8, Robin Hood and merry men are in the forest living together and training together.
Little John tells Robin Hood how fat and lazy he got after living with the Sheriff. Robin Hood
realizes that he needs new supplies, so he sends Little John to get him new supplies from
Fosse Way. After going down the path, Little John decides to go to the Blue Boar to have a few
drinks. After he stays at the Blue Boar overnight, the tanner comes into the story. A tanner is
basically someone who works with leather and this particular tanner was a wrestler. He was the
champion before Adam O’ Lincoln broke his ribs and took the belt. Then, a new character is
introduced and his name is Arthur a Bland. In the forest, both Little John and the tanner get into
a confrontation and fight. Robin Hood soon finds them, breaks up the fight, and tells Little John
to continue his journey to the town.
In conclusion, not a lot of significant events happen in these four chapters. In chapter 5, Robin
Hood basically becomes a butcher to trick the Sheriff. In chapter 6, Little John goes to the
