Summary
In the poem “Robin Hood and the Three Squires” (n.d.) narrates the rescue mission of Robin Hood to the three squires who was held by the King because they killed the King’s deer. Robin Hood disguises himself as a beggar, tricks the sheriff with the help of his followers and he saves the three men from the death penalty in Nottingham.

“In Praise of The Contented Mind” (2010-2012) imparts that persona feels satisfied and happy about himself when he compares himself to others.
Analysis
Throughout the poem, the persona expresses his feeling of satisfaction of his life in various situations when he compares himself to someone else’s situation. His contented feeling is apparent in stanza 4; “Content I live, this is my stay/ I see no more than may suffice/ I press to bear no haughty sway/ Look what I lack my mind supplies/ Lo, thus I triumph like a king / Contented with that my mind doth bring”.
