According to Life and Death Decisions book by Robert D. Schiedermayer and Biebel Euthanasia comes from the Greek word euthanatos. The adverb Eu means well and thanato is a noun that means death. In all Euthanasia mean good death means a good death or merciful ending someone’s life (152).
