Robert Murphy Stamp

Robert Daniel Murphy was an American diplomat. He was born on October 28, 1894 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Francis Murphy and Catherine Schmitz. His first federal job he had was simply working at the post office. Then he started to advanced through the ranks until, he was working for the American Government all over the world. He worked in Bern, Paris, Africa and a ton of other places as a diplomat. During WWII he worked with the French to make sure that they were part of the Allies in the fight against Axis. When General Eisenhower need someone to work the same way in Italy, Robert Murphy joyfully said yes and left the cantankerous French. After the war he was an Ambassador for Belgium (1949) and Japan (1952) in 1953 he was the assistant secretary for United Nations

My family is full of people who have worked hard and they have all had so kind of reward. For example my Aunt was a National Park ranger, she worked all over the country in more that 10 states and retired when she was still young to then go and travel all over the world. My family is also full of very religious people, on my dad's side going back way more than just three generation, they were Catholic. On my mom’s side they were all fundamentalist and up until my mom married my dad was she a fundamentalist, but she is now a devoted Catholic who attends daily mass. So coming from a very large family that is also very religious I’m always told to make sure I got to mass and confession and pray everyday I am also the kind of person that has this saying on my wall “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” Philippians 4:13. I also grow up with pretty strict parents so I have to avoid hanging out with certain people who will “drag me down the wrong path” or “drag me to hell.” So my parent are a very big part of how I live my
