Within each fraternity and sorority, there are public affairs and issue management designed individuals with various position titles, but all assigned similar roles and tasks. When a fraternity or sorority gets into trouble nationwide, there are individuals assigned at the local and national level that work to inform chapter members about the issue and work to shape internal and external opinions about the organizations while dealing with the situation. For example, negative stereotypes still exist concerning fraternity and sorority life. On the Robert Morris University Greek Life social media accounts, the positive things the Greek Community is doing are regularly being publicized as opposed to anything negative. Likewise, all individual chapters on campus individually promote what their chapters are doing and interact with the Greek Community pages online to display a sense of connectivity and unity. In many cases, chapter members are also encouraged to interact with other chapter’s social media – all, of course, being constructive and positive.
