Robert Frost Robert Frost’s life was plagued with many early deaths of family members. He was born in San Fran on March 26, 1874 and lived there for 11 years. Then the losses started, and his dad died of tuberculosis, so the family packed up and moved to Lawrence Massachusetts.
Frost and his family lived there and met his future wife Elinor White at Lawrence High School. After graduating high school Frost attended Dartmouth College, but dropped out after a few months to work a few unfulfilling jobs, then proposed to Elinor White and they married in December, 1895 and they had their first kid Elliot, in 1896. Frost went to Harvard but dropped out because of health problems. Elliot died of cholera in 1900 when they had their second kid Lesly.
