The way these two poems are alike by character is the main character in both of them is a guy exploring. They are also similar in setting because both happening basically in the woods at either nighttime or in the morning. The two poems both involve conflict. Lastly, both of the poems have a theme which are similar, they both simply say that whatever you do affects your life no matter whether it’s good or bad.
These two poems are different by their conflicts, themes, styles, significance of the time periods in which the poems were written and what was happening within those time periods. The conflict in the poem “The Road Not Taken” was that the guy couldn’t decide which path to take and the conflict in the poem “Stopping by the Woods on a Snowing
