Robby Novak's Argumentative Essay

“Life is what happens when you put down your phone” (Montague 41). Kids are often thought of as being uninvolved in their communities because they are “too small” and they can’t do what others can. It is thought that if you just put a child in front of a tv or computer that they will be content. Robby Novak has blown that stereotype out of the water. Robby Novak, also known as Kid President, is a hero to many because he positively, bravely, and significantly made a lasting impact on the world, but he could also be considered an epic hero because he holds a weapon in which only he can wield, he had an unusual circumstance of birth, and he is currently going on a remarkable journey through his life.
The Kid President is a very good example of a classic hero. Robby Novak has made a positive impact on the world. Robby and his brother-in-law, Brad, have written a book that consists of 100 ways to make the world more awesome (Montague). First of all, although his past has been short it has definitely been a struggle. Robby is a mere eleven years old and he has already had 70 breaks and 13 surgeries (Quijano). Most people will only break a few bones, if any, in their life, but Robby has obviously already blown that out of the water. Furthermore, judging by his past, it can be inferred that Robby’s life will continue in this rough journey. As stated before, Robby is only eleven years old and there is no cure for this brittle bone disease (“Who We Are”). Normally, a child with a disease such as this one, would have a hindered spirit, but not Robby. Robby never worries about breaking bones, he just wants to give the world a reason to dance with him (Quijano). Robby’s remarkable journey just throughout his life earns him the right to be called an epic

Like in my case, Dr. Romash explains “I had tell, you(me), a great hard working kid committed to play a sport she loved at my dream school (Haverford College) that she couldn’t because your body couldn’t hold up, there was no possible way it could. Did I want to? Goodness no, but one must accept the limitations of medicine.” Shattering patient’s hope of returning to how they were before their injury or problem, has been a major obstacle in Dr. Romash’s career.…
