Rob Senderoff Leadership Style

Following the end of an injury-plagued 19-13 (10-8 Mid-American Conference) season head coach Rob Senderoff knew that he’d have to replace the contributions made by graduating seniors Chris Ortiz, Xavier Pollard and Kaliq Spicer. What he didn’t know that he’d also lose his starting point guard, key bench players, a staff member and his star power forward. The month of April began with an announcement that redshirt junior guard Kellon Thomas be transferring to a school closer to home for his final year of eligibility. His reason being for personal family issues, but no further information has been provided. Hall flirted the option to enter the 2016 NBA Draft, but eventually decided it would suit his best interest to return for his senior season. “Blessed and grateful to have gone through this draft process, Hall said in a tweet announcing his decision to return. “Now it's time to focus on graduation and leading my guys to a Championship.” The redshirt junior forward has been Kent State’s best overall player since his first game during the 2014-15 season. In two season Hall’s averaged 16.1 points, 7.8 rebounds per game and has twice been named First Team All-MAC. Hall is also the only returning player to start in all 33 games last season and the only player left from a team just two years removed from a regular season MAC championship.
