Everyone has different perspectives on what a hero is ,and what a hero is dedicated to. I don't see what I see on a hero on myself. Do you? Rob has a point a hero does demonstrate behavior and make decisions of our "awe". A hero is altruistic and courageous. Odysseus wasn't altruistic because he was always egocentric. When the crew went through the whole Polyphemus's incident ,Odysseus insisted on staying to see if the Cyclops would give him a rich guest gift.
