To begin with, Roald Dahl meets a Man named Mdisho during his adventurous travel. From what I've read Roald best describes Mdisho as very brave. David coke according to Roald Dahl can be best described as helpful. The text states," You try to get on his tail,’ he said. ‘You try to turn in a tighter circle than him. If you let him get on to your tail, you’ve had it. A Messerschmitt has cannon in its wings. We’ve only got bullets, and they aren’t even incendiaries" (First encounter with a bandit 67) When Roald didn't know how to fly a plane or go into war because he had 0 experience, David coke was there to show him a few things such as, how to fly a plane, how take down planes, and what to do if he were to get shot. A second trait of David coke is that he can also be described as concerned. According to the text, it states "David Coke stared at me as though he were seeing a ghost. He could hardly have looked more startled if I had suddenly announced that I had never been up in an aeroplane before. ‘You don’t mean to say’, he gasped, ‘that you’ve come out to this place of all places with absolutely no experience whatsoever!’" it also states that "Then David Coke said, ‘As you don’t seem to know anything at all, I’d better try to help you. What would you like to know?’" (First encounter with a bandit ,45,65) David coke was concerned about Roald he tried to find out if he had any experience on how to fly up on a plane and decided to help him out.
