The speaker talks about how he was the force to pick a path to go through, but it was a hard decision to make for the speaker. With that saying I had a path to choose when I was coming out of high school. I was offered a job straight out of high to work for an electrical company then after graduation, I also got accepted to Dalton State. The entire summer I pondered over what decision I will make would I go to the working world or go and experience the college life and wait out the work world. It was a hard decision I had to make, but in the end, I end up choosing to go to school to get the full experience of a young adult. Taking the path that leads me to go to college was a great decision I made because in the five years I been in Dalton I have meant a lot of great people that had and probably will have a great influence on my life. I’m not saying that taking the other wouldn’t have been fun but I made that decision because a lot of my classmate didn’t make the same decision. I was also the first member of my family make it to college, so this is the reason I choose this path. “The Road Not Taken” is like the anthem of my life decision.
In conclusion, the poem I have a great influence on my life. I know “The Road Not took” will show up in a lot of young adult life after they graduate from high school.
