• Road hockey is a sport and hobby that every child, teen, and adult has grown up playing, and has shaped there lives for the better both physically and mentally; but some may not agree as they feel it’s a major hazard.
• Road hockey allows youth to be fit, healthy, reduce stress and make friends.
• For many concerned parents and they feel as if the kids are at risk because of dangerous drivers not obeying speed limits in residential areas.
• This will talk about both the pros and cons of road hockey and how it benefits kids and also puts them at risk from people around them.
• Firstly, one of the many things that kids must do from a younger age is develop healthy habits that stick with them for when they get older.
• Many kids/teens shape the way they their lives will be lived, in terms of getting that 45-60 minute workout every other day. When playing road hockey, it is a huge cardiovascular health benefit because the player is constantly running.
