RMS Lusitania was a huge British ocean liner which traveled from New York to Liverpool in the 20th century. An ocean liner is a ship designed to transport people from one seaport to another along regular long distance maritime routes according to schedule. RMS Lusitania was owned by the shipping company Cunard Line. A Scottish shipbuilding firm called John Brown & Company build this remarkable ship. Lusitania’s port of registry was Liverpool.
