Rita Doves parents had a huge impact in her life. They provided her options on great education, provided well enough money and as much support she needed. Her teachers taught her well and inspired her to pursue in the arts of poetry. From all the hard work she put into education, the books she wrote, the inspiring poems she put her heart into. She taught kids and impacted black females to write and have confidence within themselves. She was rewarded. President Bill Clinton was speechless when he saw her work. He though Dove would impact the art of literature to a whole different level. President Obama was also blown away of how generous she was and inspiring to kids and African Americans.
