Fracking, also known as hydraulic fracturing, has been used since the 1950s all throughout the US and Canada. The main reason for fracking offers new resources such as oil and gas. Many other countries are beginning to hop on the fracking wagon. Countries such as Germany, UK, South Africa, Australia, and Argentina are considering hydraulic fracturing, mainly thinking of the future and the resources, that are slowly running out today, fracking provides an alternative way of obtaining these types of resources. Although Fracking seems like a breakthrough for us humans, fracking provides many risks not just to us but to our ecosystem as a whole.
