The risk factors for coronary heart disease (CHD) that Bill can change is that he should stop smoking a pack of cigarettes per day, cut down on the snacks/junk food and be more physically active. For example, he should stop drinking six to eight coffee a day and maybe just drink two. Also, he should cut down on the ice cream, buttered popcorn, and salted peanuts. Switch them out for fruits/vegetables instead, like apples, grapes, oranges, and his greens. Also, maybe try eating non-buttered popcorn, less eggs, bacon, sausage and buttered toast and start eating lunch. The risk factor that Bill cannot change is the fact that, he has a family history of heart attacks. So, he will still have a risk for coronary heart disease because his father and grandfather both had heart attacks but, if he exercises more and eats healthier, his risk can decrease.

The set of risk factor that may have a big impact on his quality of life is that fact that he eat unhealthy, skips his lunch, has high cholesterol of 256mg/dl and lack of exercise. A change in his diet can help lower his cholesterol levels. His need to exercise daily is also very important because it will help him keep his weight under control. Even though, he plays tennis every sunday afternoons, he should go for a run and stretch before the game. The risk of him becoming obese can increase his chances of having a heart attack, high blood pressure and stroke. On the other hand, if he doesn 't change his diet and keeps eating lots of ice cream, buttered popcorn, and salted peanuts.
