I actually was starting to understand the process of mapping out an essay and learning that an essay doesn’t just happen. I learned that brainstorming and creating unique maps or charts helped me to focus and group my different ideas together, instead of presenting them scattered all over the place. However, even though I started to feel more comfortable with my flow of writing and grammar techniques, such as where to put comas; there was still one thing I had not quite mastered. Quotations and citing sources is something that always caused me so much anxiety. I had no idea of where to place this quotes or exactly how they should be presented in my essays.
