Furthermore, due to the rapid expansion from trade an explosion of inquisition of improvement occurred such as the improvement of agricultural equipment in addition to the science of agriculture based on the new type of crops available. Similarly, the iron industry was making progress on becoming more efficient with its deep mining technics. As well as astronomy, medicine, physics, and engineering benefiting from the economic pace and enhanced value of science (Kennedy, 1987, p. 29). Therefore, scientists bring their attention and knowledge to manufacturing. The drive to the rise of Western Civilization has many contributing factors in which I have only named a few. In my opinion the most notable factor to the rise of Western Civilization is based on the innovation and creation that has come from conflict. The technology used to improve war machines is the same technology used toward manufacturing of goods on a consumer level.
