The Biggest Parade in the World, Carnival in Rio de Janeiro
I am sure that everyone has a moment of desire to get rid of all of your stress. By going to Carnival in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, the biggest parade in the world, you can blow off your stream with a lot of fun. This carnival is held before Lent which is 40 days before Easter as a farewell to the pleasure and celebrated for five days. The carnival in Rio de Janeiro is held throughout the Brazil country and is composed of Samba parade, Samba school, street bands and parties etc. The samba dancers put a lot of efforts to prepare for several months to all year long. Samba music that they play the whole time during the parade is Brazilian music invented by poor Afro-Brazilians. These

First of all, samba parade of Rio carnival is a world famous, and there are 4 kinds of parades in the Sambodromo: Samba schools in the First League, Champions’ parade, preliminary parades of the second league schools and children’s samba schools. Samba schools in the first leagues, highlight of Rio carnival, are the major events of the whole carnival festival. Champions’ parade, the 6 best samba schools of the First League parade, performs again with fireworks. Preliminary parade of the second league schools has 14 samba schools in the group. The winner of this goes to the First League next year. Lastly, children of each different community show children’s samba schools. Besides samba parades, there are Rio carnival balls such as Magic ball at the Copa and Scala Gay costume ball, and you can enjoy street parties also. There are many balls for singles, and the most famous ball is the Scala Gay on fat and the Vermelho e Preto ball. Scala Gay balls is the traditional ball with lesbians and gays coming over to celebrate. Street parties are so much fun as free dances take place throughout the city.
