John Theisen’s presentation was over Ringworld by Larry Niven. In his presentation, John gave an extensive summary and briefly discussed the technology of the “Ring” that he is going to cover. In this novel, Louis, a 200 year old eager traveler, Teela Brown, and Speaker, who is a Kzin, all are put on a team by a Nessus, a puppeteer. Their mission is to explore a strange artificial ring that orbits a star at about the distance Earth orbits the Sun. On their way to explore this strange world, they crash land on the habitable ring, and they are unable to escape.
